Booking Policy

Management

Revelstoke Alpine Adventures is the organizer of the guiding and educational packages described in our brochure and website.

Liability

Each guest will be required to sign a RELEASE FROM LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. By signing this agreement / waiver you are giving up certain legal right. This agreement / waiver must be signed and witnessed before the guest is allowed to participate in any package or program. Refusal to sign this waiver will result in cancellation of that guests package or program with no refund of any sort.

Deposits, Registration and Payment

We strongly recommend that each guest familiarize themselves with these terms and conditions and the brochure or website.

For bookings more than 45 days in advance of the trip a deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit is 25% of the trip price. Some packages or programs may have specific deposit amounts.

For bookings less than 45 days in advance of the trip full payment is due upon booking.

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

All prices are subject to 5% federal goods and services tax (GST).

Guest participation is subject to the discretion of Revelstoke Alpine Adventures (RAA) and the trip leader or guide.

RAA recommends that guests consult with their physician before registration and participation in any package or program.

Cancellations

All packages start and finish on the specified dates. There are no refunds, partial or full for any of the following reasons:

  • late arrival or early departure for any reason.
  • sickness or injury.
  • lack of ability or fitness.

Cancellations must be made in writing and received by mail, email or fax. Time of cancellation is established upon arrival mail at RAA during regular business hours. Cancellations more than 45 days prior to the start date of package will result in loss of a $100.00 plus GST administration fee for each space. If cancellation is received 45 days or less, prior to start of confirmed package then entire amount is owed and non-refundable.

Revelstoke Alpine Adventures reserves the right to cancel any package or program at anytime. Should this occur a full refund of payments including deposits will be given.

Insurance

At the time of registration RAA strongly suggests that each guest purchase trip or holiday cancellation insurance in addition to medical, personal, and travel insurance. This insurance should cover emergency helicopter evacuation.
